12/11/2007: Meeting with Community Resource Officer
Jim Stiles met with Kelly from the Sheriffs Office and received more stickers and paraphernalia for our next meeting. After the meeting, we will officially incorporate the entire subdivision into our Community Watch area, to include Astor, Begonia, Calendula, Dianthus and Eola, along with parts of North Carpenter.

12/06/07: Expansion Project
After our Captain's meeting, we met with Nisha Kassim (Eola), walked her street asking who was interested in joining our Watch area. The response was very good. Nisha followed up later in the week and we now have enough residents on Eola to have them join.

02/08/2007: Community Watch Meeting held
We conducted our first Neighborhood Watch meeting for Lake View Hills. We had a good turn-out. Jim Stiles introduced the current Watch captains and gave a presentation about the Neighborhood Watch program.

We will tentavely schedule our community watch meetings on the first Thursday of every January and July. The captains will have quarterly meetings or as needed.

Several things have already been accomplished for our community thanks to the Watch program and leaders:
- Road & Bridge has been working in our neighborhood repairing all of the sidewalks.
- Florida Power & Light has cut the trees away from the street lights.
- Neighborhood Watch signs have been placed at the entrances to our community.
- More incidents are being reported to Law Enforcement.

01/06/07: Captain's Meeting
Our Captain's meeting was held on Saturday. Pending items were discussed along with the expansion project.
