Organization
In order for any program, company or corporation to become successful and stay successful, there must be some type of organization. Too many Watch programs have gone by the wayside due to a lack of organization.
Part of this organization is to:
- Set your goals
- Set your boundaries
- Elect your community leaders
- Decide what you will do and how you will do it
As time goes by, these items will most likely change according to your community's needs and surroundings. You must be able to adapt to these changes and modify those items in order for your community to grow and nourish.
Documentation
Documentation is a very important aspect of maintaining your Watch program. As months and years pass, you will need to reflect on the goals you have established, what you have accomplished, what worked and what didn't work. This way you will be better prepared to help your community adapt and improve.
All meetings, events, discussions and actions taken should be well documented and kept up-to-date.
